The U.S. Embassy to Romania strongly encourages the Romanian cultural organizations (state institutions or NGOs) to apply for the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2018.
The U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) supports a wide range of projects to preserve cultural heritage, such as the restoration of historic buildings, archaeological site preservation, assessment and conservation of museum collections, improved storage conditions for archives and manuscripts, and the documentation of vanishing indigenous languages.
The deadline for submitting the projects is December 20, 2017.
There are two funding categories:
1. Small grants (10,000 – 200,000 dollars)
2. Large grants (200,000 – 979,000 dollars).
The cultural organizations that want to apply for these grants are kindly asks to send an e-mail of interest to the following e-mail address: infobuch@state.gov to receive in greater detail all the requirements and regulations and the necessary forms.
