Expected Protests in Bucharest on February 18 and February 19

Expected Protest Anti-government protests are expected to continue through the coming weekend starting at 11 am on Saturday, February 18 and starting at 7 pm on Sunday, February 19 at Piaţa Victoriei. Protests Expected To Continue Over The Coming Weekend

Anti-government protests are expected to continue through the coming weekend. A large scale protest is planned for Sunday, February 12 at Piaţa Victoriei beginning at 6 p.m. Organizers are hoping for a million participants. Government supporters also continue to meet at the Presidential Palace.  Their numbers are expected to reach two or three thousand. Expect normal pedestrian and vehicular traffic

February 1, 2017 Planned Protest Protests related to recent events in Romania are scheduled for this evening at Piaţa Victoriei with the possibility of protesters moving to the Ombudsman Office, Ministry of Justice, and PSD Party Headquarters.
