The U.S. Embassy Bucharest will auction three (3) shipping containers beginning Monday 20 November at 08:00 until Wednesday 22 November at 08:00. Photos of the shipping containers on sale can be viewed, and bids can be submitted, beginning Monday 20 November at 08:00 on the Embassy website (https://online-auction.state.gov), by selecting ‘Bucharest RO’.
Offers can only be made in RON, and payments will ONLY be accepted by depositing the winning bid amount in the following sweep account:

The winners will be announced on the auction website. Winning bidders will have two (2) business days, Wednesday 22 November and Thursday 23 November, to deposit the amount. Winners must collect the containers during working hours before 15 December at the U.S. Embassy service entrance gate located at Dr. Liviu Librescu Boulevard no. 4-6, sector 1, Bucharest.
Winners must bring Romanian Government-issued photo ID and only winning bidders will be able to take possession of the lots. Auction winners MUST make their own arrangements at their own expense to remove the shipping containers from U.S. Embassy property, including but not limited to crane and truck rental.
