112 is the emergency telephone number that can be dialed free of charge from most mobile telephones and land lines in order to reach emergency services. Contact 112 if you are reporting a crime that is in progress, if someone is in immediate danger, in a genuine emergency when you wish to request police assistance, an ambulance, or fire services.
