Processing time for a full validity (10 year for adult) U.S. passport is approximately 2 weeks from the date when we received your application and payment. If you have a local telephone number and mailing address, your passport can be sent to you with the TNT express mail service once processing has been completed. The delivery time is 24 – 48 hrs and the fee is 23,56 lei paid at the time of delivery. We will contact you by telephone or e-mail before sending your new passport with TNT.

Note: We will cancel your current passport at the time you submit your application for renewal.

If you are also applying for a Passport Card, you should note that they take 4 – 6 weeks to process.

Applicants who need to travel in less than two weeks may request a limited validity emergency passport. Same-day issuance is available for applications that are complete and straightforward. In some cases, if additional review is required, same day service may not be available.
